Pathways to a Permit

Are you looking to Renew, change to Non-Practising or Return to Practice?

You can update your existing permit through:

  • Renewing your permit if you currently have a permit and want to continue practising in the next practice year. Renewal opens annually August 1.
  • Moving to the non-practising register (taking a leave) if you are not planning to practise in the next practice year. This can be selecting during the annual renewal period.
  • Returning to practice under the same protected title you had before, if you previously had a permit with the CRNA and would like to rejoin the register.
    • You must complete this application if you missed renewal or your permit lapsed.
